Dear valued supporters, patients and members of our community, to reassure you that Unity Health Care leadership and clinical staff are closely monitoring all developments related to the coronavirus. For 35 years, Unity has been a provider of quality and compassionate health care to individuals of all ages throughout the District, and we will continue to do so as this situation evolves.

Serving our community and the over 100,000 individuals we care for annually remains Unity’s number one priority. We are taking appropriate measures at all of our community health centers to ensure that we are maintaining safe environments in which we can provide essential services to those in need.

As we navigate through the coronavirus outbreak, we strive to make sure our patients feel heard and valued. We are deeply aware of the additional health and economic impacts this pandemic may have on the members of our community, particularly those without safe and stable housing, but we take comfort in knowing that Unity will be here to provide quality and compassionate health care, regardless of ability to pay.

This would not be possible without generous support from many of you. We will continue to evolve and adapt to meet the needs of our community. Though the future brings unforeseen challenges, we look forward to continuing to serve the District for another 35 years.
