Unity Health Care Providers Listed in Washingtonian Top Doctors 2017
WASHINGTON, D.C – Unity Health Care (Unity) is once again pleased to announce the inclusion of seven doctors in Washingtonian Magazine Top Doctors 2017. Each year, Washingtonian Magazine “invites physicians in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to nominate colleagues, in each of 40 specialties, whom they trust to provide care for their patients.” Below are the medical doctors from Unity selected to appear in the ‘Top Doc’ listing.
Andrea Anderson, M.D., FAAFP, is a bilingual, board-certified Family Physician and sees patients at Unity’s Upper Cardozo Health Center. Her special interests include care for underserved populations, Latino populations, and women’s health. She also has a special interest in resident and medical student education. Dr. Anderson has been a physician with Unity since 2004.
Anne Charbonneau Cardile, M.D., is an Internal Medicine physician with a special interest in care for patients coping with homelessness, complex chronic disease including HIV and mental illness. Dr. Cardile has been a physician with Unity since 2004 and is particularly appreciative of Unity's model of co-location of primary care, mental health, and social services.
Siobhan Burke, M.D is a Board Certified OB/GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives., and is the director of OB/GYN at Unity Health Care where she works with our team to provide comprehensive pregnancy and gynecologic care for women in the District. Team services include routine and high-risk pregnancy care, cervical cancer screening and prevention, IUD, Nexplanon placement, GYN consultations, treatments and surgeries. Dr. Burke has been with Unity since 2012.
Susan Canning, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist. Her career has taken a circuitous path to get to Unity. After medical school and residency in Boston, she had a private practice career in Maryland for over 20 years. She has been at Unity for a year now and feels it may be where she has belonged this whole time.
Tori Robinson, M.D., a board-certified Family Physician, sees patients at Unity’s Minnesota Avenue Health Center. Her special interests include urgent care, adolescent medicine, and women’s health. Dr. Robinson has been a physician with Unity since 2010.
Robert Zarr, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician at Unity Health Care, located in Washington, DC, where he cares for low-income and immigrant populations. He is Founder and Medical Director of Park Rx America (www.ParkRxAmerica.org), a community health initiative to prescribe nature to patients and families to prevent and treat chronic disease and promote wellness. He previously served as the Park Rx Advisor to the National Park Service in his national advocacy to connect people to parks.
Aviva Zyskind, M.D. is a board certified Family Physician and sees patients at Unity’s Upper Cardozo Health Center. Her special interests include care for teens, immigrants, underserved populations, diabetics and women. Dr. Zyskind has been a physician with Unity since 2000.
